TRAINING METHODS

Teach the dog to perform a command by using treats and praise.

Step 2: Compulsion

Once the dog performs a command consistently with the use of a treat or praise, introduce slight compulsion. Slight compulsion is simply a tug/pull of the leash used to teach a dog commands without treats or praise.
